The project aimed to address the demands of a couple, she being a designer, and he, a psychologist. To that end, we built a cluster of 280m2 composed by two blocks – with steel frame and reinforced concrete, and closing with prefabricated panels and glass. The suspended front block houses a design office formed by a large ambiance that congregates a living room, a small kitchen, and a bathroom. Underneath this volume lies a partially covered garage, and at a higher level, a space for outdoor meals, that could be transformed into a multipurpose space in the future. At the back, there is a two story block, the ground floor houses a bathroom, pantry, and a space capable of hosting events, while the upper floor shelters a psychology practice- composed of waiting room, study room, and a balcony facing the central courtyard with a large jabuticaba tree shared by both blocks.
