With the characteristics of an industrial warehouse, Paes Leme Atelier is a work of 136 m2 located in the city of São Paulo. The client requested to the office a large atelier, which could house high installations and many books, and to provide for a sleeping space if needed. The solution to this program was to design an environment with double height that includes a mezzanine, to house the intimate area. The ground floor, meanwhile, is occupied by the other dependencies of the building. At the back, the Atelier has a backyard. The roof of the building is grassy and accessible via the staircase.
