In 2017 was inaugurated the Moreira Salles Institute at Paulista Avenue, in São Paulo. Known as IMS Paulista, the new cultural center is the most important building of the Moreira Salles Institute, a well-known Brazilian cultural foundation - the most important one at the area of photographic collection, also acting on literature, music, cinema, plastic arts and other forms of cultural and artistic manifestations. The project to this building was subject to a contest in which participated 6 of the most renowned architectural offices in Brazil. The winning project was made by the office Andrade Morettin Architects.
The usage of the translucent glass as a second skin makes the museum be perceived as a well-defined volume with the necessary strength to stablish its place among its neighbors and the other buildings in Paulista Avenue.
