The arts edifice is linked to the structure of teaching art to the elementary students of Vera Cruz School. The annex, inaugurated in 2013, houses four classrooms that support the different artistic activities proposed by the teachers. The new building also has a stock in the basement, and another area located in the internal courtyard to organize materials to be used by students during the classes (such as paper, paints and fabrics). The structure of the building is mixed, either made of wood, or of reinforced concrete, and the closing is made of cement blocks with metal frames and glass. The edifice is part of the restructuring phase of the school spaces, which generated living and circulation areas, such as open and enclosed courtyards carefully designed with new finishing and furnishings.
